"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 (NKJV)

Hi Family,

I have heard the stories of survivors of the Holocaust, the Great Depression, World War II, the genocide in Rowanda, and slavery. I've heard the stories from survivors of Pearl Harbor, and how some were trapped in shark invested water for days. I've read some real life stories that I don't know what I would've done had I been in that situation. Those that survided shared their stories and I am so grateful. Because had they not shared how they made it through then I wouldn't be so appreciative during times like this. What I'm expressing is that we're living in a time where we just don't know what will happen in the next second of our life. Just last week, some may have been shopping, spending time with family, celebrating St Patrick's Day, or traveling with friends. And in the blink of an eye, over a matter of a week it's as if the country is on a lock down. Who would've thought that in our day and time one would have to worry about getting a simple roll of toliet paper. Listen Family if we were to go through any of the things listed above, what is a roll of toliet paper going to do? Do you think the survivors of the above listed tragedies were worried about toliet paper, or getting to the store? They were worried about one thing and that was surviving. Family our assurance is not in the stores, the President, the police, or the government but it should be in Jesus Christ. The scripture tells us that we will have great tribulation but Christ has already overcome the world. Yes we should use wisdom and take necessary precaucions but we should also choose Jesus and place our trust in Him because He is our Jehova Jireh (God our Provider). He said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Do we truly believe that? Do we beleive that Jesus who, died for us will never leave us? If you don't you should. He loves you and He wants what's best for you. Horatio Gate Spafford lost his four daughters in a tragic accicendent on a ship. Because Mr. Spafford's hope was in Jesus Christ, he found the strength to write the lyrics to the famous hymn, "It is Well With my Soul." Family in Christ we are overcomers. Build your hope on things eternal, and hold to God's unchanging hand!

Faith over Fear! Trust God! Pray without Ceasing! You have Overcome!

Love You,

Toya
